    Prices

No challenge to the price will be admissible; it is up to the prospective tenant to assess before making their reservation whether the price is suitable for them.
The displayed rental amount at the time of booking does not include tourist taxes. They will be paid upon payment of the balance by the tenant upon arrival at the cottage. Electricity and water are included in the rental price.

Reservation, Deposit, Payment, Security Deposit, and Contract

Reservations can be made either via the "reservations" tab accessible via the website http://gitedelapeyre-causse.com, or directly with the owner of the cottage by email or phone. Reservation is only effective upon payment of the deposit, which is 30% of the rental price.
The "Gtes de La Peyre et du Causse" reserve the right to refuse a reservation if it does not comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The balance payment is made upon arrival at the cottage, exclusively by credit card (Visa, Mastercard...) via a POS terminal. An invoice will be issued upon your departure. For tenants outside the Eurozone, bank charges associated with payment remain their responsibility and will not be taken into account by the "Gtes de La Peyre et du Causse."
The security deposit of EUR1000 is made by credit card imprint upon arrival. It is the responsibility of the tenant to ensure before booking that the amount is available in their account and that the limit of their credit card allows it. This security deposit is not considered as rent payment. It will be refunded after the final inventory upon departure.
The rental contract is signed by the lessor and the tenant after completion of the inventory.

    Insurance

The tenant undertakes personally to check with their own insurance that any damages, thefts, etc., are covered during their stay. The tenant cannot take any action against the owner in case of theft or burglary of their personal effects of which they could be a victim.
Minors on the property are under the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.

    Cancellation

    Arrival

Arrival is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must inform the owner.
The inventory is carried out upon arrival, by the tenant and the owner.

    Departure

Departure is before 11:00 am; the inventory must be completed beforehand by the tenant and the owner.

    Inventory

The cleanliness of the cottage upon arrival must be noted in the inventory.
Cleaning of the house and private outdoor areas is the responsibility of the tenant. The end-of-stay cleaning will be carried out by the owner. However, the tenant is required to leave the accommodation, including the floor, in a proper condition, with the household linen placed in the bag provided for this purpose by the owner at the entrance of the cottage, under penalty of invoicing exceptional cleaning fees. It is understood by "proper condition" that the dishes are done, the hob is free of food residues and grease, the waste is put in the bins and the bags are closed.

    Use of Premises

The tenant must respect the peaceful nature of the rental and not make noise between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.
Parties and lively gatherings are not allowed in the cottage.
Smoking is prohibited inside the cottage; ashtrays are provided outside.
It is not permitted to accommodate an additional person for one night, except with the owner's agreement and after payment of the mandatory tourist tax, while not exceeding the maximum capacity of 10 people set by the cottage's insurance policy.

    Pet Policy

Pets are allowed in the rental, provided that dogs stay on the ground floor and not on the upper floor under any circumstances. Excrement must be picked up by the tenant and placed in a garbage bag.
Dogs are not allowed in the pool area.
The garden of the cottage is unfenced.

    Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the tenant must pay to the owner upon arrival. The owner then remits the amount to the Public Treasury.
It is EUR0.77 per adult per night.
